Happy happy Joy joy :)
So I was planning to spend Christmas in London but unfortunately the flights were drastically full :( I'm not entirely sad because this means I get to spend Christmas with my boyfriend and Phoenix family members. USA here I come!!

New Moon and Crepes :)
As you all know, New Moon came out last week. I was pretty pumped to see the premiere so I thought I'd just show up to the first showing. We underestimated the crowd. We saw the cue and turned right back around. I said "HELL TO THE NO!!" We went on our merry way and made ourselves feel better by noshing on Mexican food (sweet potato enchiladas) and nutella crepes for dessert. Food always makes things better, ha ha! :) Other than reading and studying all weekend this was most of what I've been doing. How has your weekend been going?

Head Explosion
Dissertation, tests, papers, statistics, humerus, oh my! This week has been an overload of information for my pretty little head. I think it may actually self-destruct in 5 seconds Mission Impossible style! Three weeks from today I have a paper and test due. EEK! Saying sorry ahead of time that my updates are not as punctual. Last weekend I colored my hair a nice dark hue of black cherry. Looks yummy! :) I finally found a pair of skinny jeans that I like from a place here called New Look. MAC cosmetics had a 10 percent off sale at a local department store so I bought a new eyeshadow called Woodwinked. Anything new happening for you this week? Let me know in the comments section. Would love to hear from you! I also wanted to comment on how the young ones dress these days. I went out to a club/bar in Bournemouth and was appalled at how short the skirts were. I really think that 'women' these days really don't leave much to the imagination. I mean I saw bits and pieces that NOBODY should EVER have to see! What are your thoughts on this?

Perma-Grin!!
So I got my first post-grad essay back and did pretty well for what I was expecting! I had a sinking feeling that 6 years of academic inactivity would highly affect my writing or lack their of. I proved myself wrong and received the same grade as my fellow classmates. SCORE right??!! I've had a permanent grin for the last 3 days. YAY!!

Halloween Aftermath!
I did two of my most favorite things this Halloween: 1) Hosted a Party and 2) wore a crazy outfit. Outcome: TIME OF MY LIFE!! Back in summer I saw the trailer for the new Alice in Wonderland movie directed by Tim Burton and when I saw the Mad Hatter I knew that it was what I wanted to be this Halloween. It was definitely a hit with my friends. Some did not even recognize me! We also went out in town and people were giving me some interesting looks. I loved it!!

Can barely keep my eyes open....
This week has been really crazy and eventful! My favorite person came to visit me in Poole. He brought me some goodies and I'm oh so happy. YAY I'm done!! :)
I have been working on my first essay assignment for the last two weeks and I'm so relieved its done. Finished it on Friday (due Monday)...Ha ha overachiever or just really trying to not be a procrastinator. Well I'd say both and also I'm not about to start wasting my money. GRAD school doesn't come cheap :) Even though I'm finished I still have this anxiety that I'm going to perform poorly. Can't beat myself up though. I did the best I could. Sunday Fun Day!!
Boy does time pass by quickly! Just finished my second week of uni and really don't know where the time has gone. Today I hosted a party for a new friend! She turned 24 :) Yay love parties. We had cake and presents but most importantly we had tea. I've never had so much tea in my life. Haha! Time to breathe.....
Intense isn't the word to describe my Graduate Program. How about overwhelming, scary, or CRAZY!! LOL! I'm quite happy that it is intense....really...at least I'm getting my money's worth right??? I have met a few people in my course that I really like and hopefully build great friendships with. My main love in life (shopping, hehe) is on hold because of being a starving student and plus I have less time to shop these days. But today I managed to squeeze in an hour of shopping and came up with two great dirt cheap items. I bought an adorable small gray handbag for 2.50 pounds($3.98) and a pink printed scarf for 3 pounds($4.78). Styleezta, the "BARGAIN BANDIT", strikes again!! RAHAHAHA! Oh yeah on top of the great bargains I got a student discount of 20%. Holla!!
But this week has been a slow one for giveaways...did not score any this week :( wah wah!! But I still trudge at it and try to enter as many as I can.

Sunday Morning Without a Warning.....
So I've decided to change up my weekly updates to Sunday. I've now settled down here in Bournemouth so I decided Sunday is my less busiest day. OK so lets get down to business. Let me tell you how much I love where I live. I live in the town of Poole. It's a natural harbor and surrounding the east of the harbor are some million dollar homes. Yeah the rich like it here because the weather is milder and there are less schools, traffic, pollution, etc etc. So its definitely a serene location if you want to retire and live it up! My dorm is pretty new and what I like the most is my privacy. I have my own suite including a bathroom, bed desk, and teeny closet(urgh). School doesn't start til tomorrow and I already had my first anxiety dream. In my dream I stupidly went home for the weekend and realized that if I left on Sunday I wouldn't make it back in time for school...NIGHTMARE!! LOL

My Pretty Sample Bag is a site that sells samples of makeup products. The cool part about it is that you can choose what samples you want out of a pretty decent list of brands. I just ordered some samples from MARK, Eyeko, Mineralicious and NYX. There are three easy steps: choose what size bag you would like (5 or 8 samples), add the samples you would like to the cart then checkout. Easy peasy right?? The mini bag is $5.50 and the regular is $8, this price includes the shipping. In the days of yore, samples were only given if you bought something from a makeup counter. Jet Set Woes!
Hiya Everyone :) My first post from across the pond! I can't believe I've been here 5 days already. On the way over I was able to sit FIRST CLASS! Yeah whole new world up there. Seriously only way to fly. I can see why people get a spoiled "I'm rich and you're not" attitude when they are up there. But not me I was just grateful to be amongst the elite. Oh and for my Chi Omega fans, I was sitting next to an Alumni. She was telling me how she forgot the words to 'Shades' and I was like "Don't worry I never knew them in the first place!"....Small World, right Chi O's???? Anyway, weather in London has been up and down. Typical weather is sunny one day then cloudy or rainy the next. I bought one of those tiny little folding umbrellas to put in my purse just in case. I've already managed to spend money at a couple of shops called Primark and TK MAXX. Primark is comparable to H&M but WAY cheaper and I'm assuming TK MAXX is their version of TJ Maxx. This weekend I plan on visiting the Portabello Market in Notting Hill Gate. Pics to come :)

It's about Bloody Time!
UK bound in less than 12 hours! Can't wait! Don't fret readers as I'm not leaving you for good. I'll still be updating from across the pond. I'll use my new gorillapod (flexible tripod) to share my adventures. I'm going to miss all my friends and family but seriously in this day and age people are like sideview mirrors "Objects may be closer than they appear". I know I'll be keeping in touch with them either through skype or Facebook. Without further ado I'd like to share my goodies with you! This week was a good one for me. HEYO Listen what I say OHHH.....
